Unicorns

I don’t know if you’d answer this, but would you tell us how long unicorns live? I’m thinking in particular of Shalkan of course, he is my favorite character!

Unicorns live at least as long as Elves, this much I know for certain. In the Phoenix trilogy we see Kareta, Shalkan's daughter, and she seems to be quite young.

Authors aren't supposed to have favorites, but I am very fond of Shalkan, too.
