Continuity Question

Do the western foothills of the Mystrals have a specific name in Kellen's time, or are they just "the foothills"? For those who have read CROWN OF VENGEANCE, I'm specifically interested in the terrain around the Vondaimieriel side of the Dragon's Gate Pass.

I'm fairly certain the geography will line up (aside from those parts of it that get utterly wiped out during the Second Endarkened War, since I expect a mountain or two is going to go), but the place names will tend to wander a bit. For those of you keeping track, it is approximately 14,000 years from Vieliessar's time to Kellen's: there are humans in Vielle's time, but they're in the late hunter-gatherer stage, and neither the Elves or the Otherfolk think much of them.

The next ten thousand years (between the First and Second Endarkened Wars) will see the florescence of High Elven culture and the development of the culture of Men. Since it's mostly pretty peaceful, though, I doubt I'm going to set a novel there. Alas.

Endarkened Wars

I’m a little rusty. The first endarkened war is the one being set up in the Dragon Prophesy right? The second is during kellens time?

Nope! There's another war in between. It's sometimes called "The Great War", and it's the one that Kellen has a dream/vision of in the first trilogy. It's the one that turned most of the Known World into wasteland.
