I'm so glad to hear you're looking forward to the next book. Unfortunately, I have no new news as to Blade of Empire's release date. I will certainly post it here the moment I do, along with the usual outtakes and trivia you've come to expect of me.

from Scott Costello. I thoroughly enjoyed DRAGON PROPHECY, as well as the obsidian trilogy. your writing talents is exceptional. However I have once again made a big mistake. I didn't look to see when a new release was planned before reading Dragon Prophecy. Now I see you are starting on house of the four winds series. I am at a loss at why some authors would not respect their fans and their income source by dragging out releases like this. re-reading a first book due to years later release or knowing the author is not interested in finishing a story line is quite frustrating. I made a promise to myself years ago not to read a series until they are all out, but due to my enjoyment of your writing skills I broke it. Now once again I will have to rebuke myself for such idiocy as to not listening to my better judgement by keeping my promises.. As you can tell I would love to read the rest of the story. Please re-consider and finish what you started before continuing a newer series. Best wishes for your career even though a much frustrated fan.

I am very sorry for your frustration. As an avid reader myself, I understand it completely. However, as I have mentioned elsewhere, Tor insisted on our delivery of "The House of the Four Winds" before I proceeded with the next Dragon Prophecy book.
